About Us

Alan Pursell and Martin Epp began playing Country Music together around their home town Salida, CO in 2005. Alan was a solo country singer/songwriter and Martin was a seasoned guitar/bass/songwriter from various bands both looking to perform original music. Alan and Martin combined talents and teamed up with a long list of original material. After many gigs and great feedback from fans, they decided to concentrate on writing and performing their own compositions. So far they have written 36 songs and produced two albums, "Only Boys Back Then" and "Second Chance". A third album is currently being recorded to be released in 2018.

An Alan and Martin show consists of a full 4-6 peice band, playing original tunes plus mix in cover songs of all your favorites from George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, and many more.

Alan Pursell, guitar/vocals; Martin Epp, bass/vocals; George Mossman, drums/vocals, John Lusk, lead guitar/, George Sypert, pedal steel; Ernie Hatfield, keyboards.
